Enter any loan amount, interest rate and tenure to see the exact monthly installment, total interest and total repayment.
EMI (Equated Monthly Installment) uses the standard reducing-balance formula: EMI = P × r × (1+r)n / ((1+r)n − 1), where P is the loan amount, r is the monthly interest rate (annual rate ÷ 12), and n is the number of monthly installments (years × 12). Every installment is the same amount, but the split between interest and principal shifts over time - early payments are mostly interest, later ones mostly principal.
This is the pure principal-and-interest figure at the rate and tenure you enter - it doesn't include bank processing fees (sometimes added to the loan amount) or rate changes on a variable-rate loan.
If you haven't worked out your eligible loan amount yet, start with the eligibility calculator - it factors in your income, existing debt and credit card limits, property LTV limits, and a bank-style stress-tested rate, then hands you a loan amount you can bring straight back here.
EMI = P × r × (1+r)^n / ((1+r)^n − 1), where P is the loan amount, r is the monthly interest rate, and n is the number of monthly installments.
Yes. A longer tenure lowers the monthly EMI but increases total interest paid over the life of the loan. A shorter tenure raises the EMI but reduces total interest paid.
This is the pure principal-and-interest installment at the rate and tenure you enter. It doesn't include bank processing fees added to the loan, or rate changes on a variable-rate loan, so your actual statement may differ slightly.
